Goodbye - Michael Christopher Darling the Time has come,
And so shalt it be,
I hear the bards singing already,
The tales I do hear,
Are of yours not me,
I stare down hard,
Long,
So long,
And think and ponder,
About old times,
I am sad they are gone,
I do not understand why,
Hell most I have run into,
I wish I did not say hi,
But they are gone,
Am I alone?
I cannot,
They are they,
They are around,
Or some of them I hear,
A voice comes so softly,
Do not fear,
All things come and go,
Live and die,
The wheel turning,
Or so it is said,
A bunch of crap,
They said they would be there,
They said they would not leave,
They said they would share a drink,
We are friends,
We were friends,
For you are no more,
To live,
To die,
To breathe once more,
There are many not here,
I am alone,
Or am I,
I am old myself,
But I see there face,
Some say I am crazy,
I must admit I feel I must finally say good-bye,
To all that were around,
To all that were once,
It is funny now,
Just the other day,
A big argument broke out,
In the middle of the play,

A sad one,
Like me was upset,
He said a few things,
Bad things,
Insulting things,
As I am,
As I do,
I listened and heard,
And heard them say,
Several bad things,
I salt repeat none,
And nevermore,
She was not,
And will not,
Ever be the reason they left,
A noble one as her,
Could not,
And would not,
So she is new,
And so she worked hard,
She earned her rank,
And thus must endure the insults and accusations,
She will thrive,
She must thrive,
I see there’s hope,
In her eyes,
In many of there eyes,
My old eyes,
Or so I think,
Have seen many in the world,
Come,
Go,
Live,
Die,
But I do not blame,
And will no accuse,
I am not jealous of another’s fortune,
I am not jealous that I am no longer good,
I am grateful,
I am glad,
So I hope,
I do miss,
I do cry,
And think back,
At the old times,
Back in the day,
The very beginning,
I was like them,
But the time has come,
And I will continue to stare,
And watch,
And listen,
I miss you yes I do,
But that is life,
Come and go,
Live and die,
I know one day,
We shall see each other again.
